Intl. Medical, Hospital Equipment Exhibit to Open

TEHRAN The Sixth International Exhibition of Medical and Hospital Equipment and Pharmaceutical Industries is to be open here from June 15-19, public relations department of the Export Promotion Center of Iran (EPCI) reported on Wednesday. More than 295 public and private manufacturing, industrial, export and service companies are to take part in the exhibition. According to the report, 90 foreign companies from Germany, Italy, Britain, Belgium, Czech Republic, Russia, Japan, South Korea, France, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Turkey, Austria, Canada, Denmark, Spain, Greece, China, Ukraine and Taiwan are to participate in the fair.
Latest achievements in the field of medical equipment and instruments, optometry, dentistry and dialyses instruments, surgery instruments, optic lenses as well as hospital equipment such as beds, surgery lights, sterile machines, electronic hardware, medical software, transplantation means, variety of medicines, serums, vaccines, pharmaceutical equipment, chemical substances used in pharmaceutical industries and laboratory equipment are to be put on show at the exhibition.
The aim of the fair is to make Iranian manufacturers familiar with the latest technology in the field, establish links between Iranian and foreign experts and increase quality of domestic products in order to expand export of medical and hospital equipment. (IRNA)
